Howie is een vijftienjarige jongen wiens moeder onlangs overleden is bij een auto ongeluk. Hij voelt zich verwaarloosd door zijn vader en sluit zich aan bij een groep jongens die voor de lol inbreken. Na een inbraak wordt Howie betrapt door Big John, een voormalig marinier met een liefde voor jonge jongens. Er ontstaat een complexe relatie tussen beiden.
